ULTRASONIC TESTING (UT)

We run non-destructive NDT testing of welded, forged, rolled or cast constructions. They are based on detecting discontinuities of its elements. The aim of NDT testing is to eliminate all these difficulties to provide safe conditions during the operation.

Ultrasonic testing (UT) uses high frequency sound waves to conduct examinations and make measurements. Ultrasonic equipment utilizes a combined emitter and sensor which sends out a high-frequency pulse of sound energy into the casting surface, and then monitors the reflected sound wave. We run UT with Olympus and Krautkramer ultrasonic flaw detector and with the proper heads from reputable producers. Ultrasonic testing (UT) performed by our personnel is based on applicable standards or in accordance with the procedures indicated by the customer.
