PENETRANT TESTING (PT)

We run non-destructive NDT testing of welded, forged, rolled or cast constructions. They are based on detecting discontinuities of its elements. The aim of NDT testing is to eliminate all these difficulties to provide safe conditions during the operation.

Penetrant testing (PT) is one of the oldest and simplest NDT methods.
Liquid penetrant inspection is used to detect any surface-connected discontinuities such as cracks from fatigue, quenching, and grinding, as well as fractures, porosity, incomplete fusion, and flaws in joints. We run PT with colour or fluorescent method. Penetrant testing (PT) performed by our personnel is based on applicable standards or in accordance with the procedures indicated by the customer.
